Located
at the Incomati River mouth. A short boat trip to Macaneta beach
and Xefina
islands. Approximately 35 Kms north of Maputo. Tar road until the
last 5Kms sand road, which is only acessible with 4x4 vehicles.
This
Lodge is located just before Marracuene Village, the first village,
when you leave Maputo town going towards the North.
The
facilities available include: 2 Two bedrooms Chalet (6 Sleeper), 3
One bedroom Chalets, Camping facilities with ablution block and a
rustic shop.
There
are two boats for hire (skipper supplied by us) and canoes for
guests to use in the river.
The
Lodge is on Municipal Electricity.
There
is excellent borehole water. All Chalets have on-suite flushing
toilets and hot/cold showers.
Hot
water is supplied from Firewood-Boilers and the staff have to be
advised what time the hot water is needed so that they keep the
boilers warm for your showers. |
